EL MINISTERIO DEL TIEMPO - SERIES 2, EPISODE 2: EL TIEMPO EN SUS MANOS (LA 1)

[Spoiler-Free "mini review"] After last week's unexpected development, the Spanish sci-fi series goes Serpico and Life On Mars with this incredible episode introducing new lead Hugo Silva as undercover cop Jesús Méndez (nicknamed "Pacino").

Andrés Gertrúdix plays a ruthless adversary of the Ministry of Time. The series has a new intro. Great running gag about Méndez particularly upset that his new colleagues don't know the 1973 Sidney Lumet movie which inspired his nickname. El Ministerio del Tiempo is the epitome of "Must See TV".

Also starring Aura Garrido (Amelia Folch), Nacho Fresneda (Alonso de Entrerríos), Cayetana Guillén Cuervo (Irene Larra), Juan Gea (Ernesto Jiménez), Francesca Piñón (Angustias Vázquez) and Jaime Blanch (Salvador Martí).
